Join our impactful volunteer program in Arusha, Tanzania, where you will help young women ages 13-24 who have experienced homelessness, neglect, forced labor and violence. In a safe shelter, you will contribute to a holistic approach focused on education, psychological support and social development to break the cycle of poverty and violence. Your flexible workday (starts between 9-10am and ends around 2pm) may include directly supporting women during their business development and rehabilitation programs, teaching English classes or helping with childcare activities. This is an opportunity to make lasting impact while being immersed in Tanzanian culture. You will stay at the vibrant White House of Tanzania Hostel, enjoy included meals and have the opportunity to participate in amazing safari experiences on free days!
